Summary: No doubt, the staff were really warm and friendly. Check-in was easy and a breeze with collection of security deposit. However, I was truly shocked when the room type booked is what seemed to be a sub basement unit of the hotel. Superior room, a first time for me to walk out of the lobby down to a lower level. Sewage smell at the corridor, in the toilet was inevitable. Price wasn’t the lowest of Johor Bahru but I didn’t expect it. Air conditioning worked but because of the odd room layout, you barely feel the cold air from the bed. No windows, no clock, just a TV. Definitely first and the last for me.
