Distinctive features, such as the butcher-block breakfast bar, exposed brick, and a repurposed fan as a ceiling light give the space plenty of unique charm. When it’s time to eat, grab one of the bright orange chairs at the bar, or head over to the dining room, which features chair rail and the same deep blue walls as the living room and kitchen. After breakfast, it’s time to explore. Hiking, mountain biking, rafting, and scenic drives are all just outside your doorstep, and the charms of Asheville await around 17 miles to the west.
