Summary: I enjoy my three day stay at the resort, though I couldn't sleep first night because I could hear the neighbor above the my room moving around, and when they were sleeping a bird was eating something on their balcony floor all night. It's on the beach front, Eco-friend, quiet and small. It's a perfect place for family or individual that needs to get away from the city noise or prefer less interaction with people. If figured that's why it's call Tranquilidad Resort. You sit on under the palms to rest, read or watch the beach. Pool is super clean and there are two board games available to play. There is a lake about 1km wide on the front of the resort to go on canoe tour or just sit to enjoy the serenity of the area. Rooms are clean and with a small kitchen equipped with cookwares. Staff are friendly and attentive and breakfast was good. Downside: The resort is about 25 minutes drive into the Palo Seco rural community off Quepos highway on a solo not-coated road, this could be an issue during the raining season. There is no walking distance to anything you need out of the resort, the only bar-restaurant is almost at the entrance of the area where you will see most people socializing at night. Don't expect a youthful or diverse community like Jaco or Manuel Antonio. Overall, the resort is a perfect place if you're planning a trip with zero to a few activities.
