This beautifully-restored 3-storey, 3-bedroom shophouse was renovated for the comforts of modern living while still retaining as much of the original house as possible. Take in George Town's rich history by staying right in this original 1890s shophouse! Not only is this truly an amazing place to unwind and marvel at the beautiful architecture, it is also located right in the heart of George Town, where everything you need is just a few steps away!

We're located on Carnarvon Street (Lorong Carnarvon), right in the heart of George Town. Everything you need is just a couple of steps away!
A Penang trip is not complete without indulging in the street food! George Town Char Kuey Teow or Cendol, anyone? The famous Kimberley Street Food Night Market is just a few steps away from you. Enjoy the delicious street food and soak in the lively atmosphere of Kimberley Street at night.
To enjoy George Town to the fullest, go on the hunt for all the wall murals and street art (there's 3 right on your street!). At the same time, take in the rich history of the streets and stunning shophouses (just like the one you'll be staying at!).
Take a 5-min stroll to Penang's most famous clan house - Khoo Kongsi. Marvel at this architecture masterpiece, which was built some 650 years ago. Khoo Kongsi is a magnificent structure with stone carvings that adorn the entrance hall. There are also structures, murals and statues of divine guardians throughout.
Only a short 10-min walk to get to the Clan Jetties - including the famous Chew Jetty. Built in 1918, this is one of the biggest waterfront settlements in George Town. You won't want to miss the scenery and the beautiful row houses on stilts, joined by wooden walkways.
If you want to take a break from the historical side of things, we are also only an 8-min walk to 1st Avenue Mall, a modern & stylish shopping mall that offers fashion, leisure and an abundance of dining choices.
Getting Around:
Needless to say, being on Carnarvon Street, you can pretty much walk to most places. If you're not a fan of walking, you are surrounded by cabs, getting around is not going to be a problem at all.
(TIP: Hail a CAB or GRABCAR. It's well worth it. Traffic is REALLY bad in George Town, so avoid peak hour traffic if possible between the hours of 8am-10am and 4pm-9pm on weekdays).
