Positive: What a fantastic surprise to find a spotless Japanese style hotel in a heritage building right on the Old Town Square. I loved my room - I had a Sky Room and it was like sleeping in my own say caravan but with mood lighting and meditation music. Was perfect temperature, comfortable big bed, hot shower and noise proof. Exceeded all expectations for the price.

Negative: Skip the breakfast. No one wants a lump of cold rice, greasy chicken and a soggy salad for breakfast. That is an Indonesian thing and its not tasty at all. Go out into the square and spend money having a real breakfast somewhere world class like Cafe Batavia next door. Or the amazing Hotel Tugu - dont miss that place!!! Its spectacular.

Summary: Fantastic Hotel. Wouldn't stay anywhere else in Jakarta now
