Positive: Palms Penida is a lovely jungle retreat and a very relaxing place to stay. The room was beautifully set up with everything we needed, comfortable and well appointed without feeling overdone. Being surrounded by the jungle was a real highlight — the natural sounds at night were wonderful and made for a very peaceful, calming atmosphere. Breakfast was included and was excellent, and as we found throughout our trip, the staff were consistently lovely, friendly, and welcoming. The location feels nicely secluded, though it’s worth noting that the hotel is accessed via a slightly hazardous track. That said, we managed it easily on foot without any issues. Our plans changed so we weren’t able to stay for the full duration of our booking, but we genuinely enjoyed the time we did spend here. If our travels take us back to Nusa Penida in the future, we wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Negative: Nothing - however due to the rocky path between the road and the hotel I would not recommend it for those with accessibility needs.
