Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Nice and quiet place across the river from the village. Wonderful host and hospitable family. The cottages are cozy with a good mattress and mosquito nets. And you have your own bathroom! It's on the standard you would expect for a cheap place in a remote location. Jungle feeling with some comfort. The food they cook is very good and they provide boat tours 3 times a day. Also, Adira helped me with transportation and organised pick up and drop off service for the bus. Would definitely stay there again. Thank you Adira and family!

Negative: A sink in the bathroom would be nice, but it also gave it a bit of a remote feeling. There was a tap next to the shower to use, so no big deal. For the boat trips it would be nice to get more information about the area, forest and animals. I think that would make the difference for Sukau Sandipau Stay to become the No. 1 accommodation in the area. But the boat trips were still totally worth it. I saw a lot of animals including the big 5.

Summary: I felt welcome and at home!
