Idyllic and very quiet ravine setting with no traffic noise. 5 minutes to downtown Peachland and central to beaches, wineries, and many other activities and attractions across the Okanagan Valley (25 minutes by car to Kelowna or Penticton).
A spectacular home-away-from-home that gets you out of the traffic, noise and crowds in Kelowna, and puts you right in the middle of everything the Okanagan has to offer. The perfect choice for two couples or a family looking for a peaceful, convenient vacation getaway. Peachland's location at the terminus of the Coquihalla Connector is ultra-convenient for anyone coming from Vancouver.
THE SPACE
Why stay in a basement when you can stretch out and relax in a 1300 square foot chalet with 2 floors/loft, 2 bedrooms, 2 baths and a 17' vaulted ceiling? Multiple outdoor spaces with 500 square feet of deck on two levels (the loft bedroom has its own deck) so you can always find just the right amount of sun or shade. Two outdoor dining areas — one is covered and privacy-screened in case you have had enough sun (or it rains!) and the front deck dining table offers a truly incredible 180-degree view of the lake. The modern kitchen with island is fully equipped and conveniently connects to the outdoor BBQ area. Super easy to create your own amazing lakeview dining experience. Located on a quiet, dead-end street — take a short walk to the end of the road and enjoy an incredible view of Hardy Falls.
GUEST ACCESS:
Guests have exclusive and private use of the 2 upper floors and all the deck areas. In accordance with local and provincial licensing requirements, the owner resides on-site. I stay in the basement suite (separate entrance) and most guests don't even notice I am there. On the other hand, I am readily available if you have questions or issues with the property, or simply want some suggestions on what to see and do while you are here!
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
The driveway/parking is at the top of the property and access to the house is via a number of stairs. It is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. There is parking for 2 vehicles. The property is located in a residential area and your respect for everyone that lives in the surrounding neighborhood is expected.
