Positive: Very friendly and helpful staff. Our room was right on the beach and you could hear the water and had great views. The house was superb and you got a zodiac ride for free to drop you off and drift back with the current. One of the staff was also happy to be your guide and seemed very happy with a ₹100 tip. The rooms were kept immaculately clean. The ₹5 million trip for two to see the Komodo dragons, pink beach, and two snorkel sites was expensive but worth it. Last time I saw the dragons in the park and this time saw them in the village area. The combination of the two was a good idea.

Negative: I stayed here pre-pandemic when it was owned by an Italian and the operation was much smaller and more like a family setting. That was missing this time and the Romanian property managers really did not engage. I don’t remember the cost for going on a snorkel trip last time or going out with the diverse but I think that was because they were minimal. This time I think they were exorbitant (over ₹2000000) other than the house reef trip mentioned above. Also, were they took you wasn’t much better than the house reef. The meals were good, but under the Italian management I remember them being exceptional. The one exception was breakfast with eggs Benedict, which is now available and was great. They even gave extra bacon without charging.
