Positive: We had an unforgettable stay here! The location is wonderful – surrounded by nature, away from the city noise, with fruit trees like bananas, jackfruits, papayas and many more right outside the house. During our stay we saw macaques, dusky leaf monkeys, hornbills, fireflies, squirrels, and other wildlife in the garden, which truly felt like being in the Malaysian rainforest. The hosts were amazing – Khalid kindly answered all our questions about Malaysian nature and history, and even showed us his permaculture garden. Lis prepared delicious breakfasts, and her cheesecake was simply the best we’ve ever had. On top of that, they have five super friendly dogs, and we loved spending time with them every day. Truly a magical experience!
