Surrounding the church—located at the highest point of the historic village on a mound and home to one of the oldest playable organs in the world—are the former farmhands’ and artisans’ houses as well as large farmsteads, arranged in a ring, creating the distinctive charm of this circular village.

On the outer ring of the village stands the Gulfhof, believed to have been built by Ufko Andreesen van Senden around 1890. In the second bedroom, you’ll find three single beds (90x200 cm)—one of which is a cozy sleeping alcove beneath the historic exposed beams, which give the apartment its name, “Bütz.” A beautiful white dresser provides storage space, and the matching closet is located in the hallway. Both bedrooms have blackout and insect-screen roller blinds, ensuring nothing stands in the way of a restful night’s sleep. Furthermore, all accessible electrical outlets in the vacation rental are equipped with built-in child safety covers.

The modern bathroom on the upper floor offers the highest level of comfort with its floor-level Raindance shower, a stylish sink, toilet, and heated towel rack.
