The Accommodation
Welcome to Chalet Design21, your exceptionally spacious and exclusive retreat in Scharnitz, nestled in the mountains of the Seefeld High Plateau. Built in 2021, this chalet combines modern design, high-quality materials, and an impressive sense of space, partly accentuated by very high ceilings. It’s the perfect choice for large families or groups who prioritize comfort, style, and shared experiences.
It features a spacious layout with thoughtfully designed areas for socializing and privacy. You’ll have a total of five stylish bedrooms—four with comfortable double beds and one with a bunk bed, all equipped with their own workspace. For flexible sleeping arrangements, there are also two open mezzanine areas offering a total of five additional sleeping spots. Five modern bathrooms—four with showers and one en suite with a bathtub—ensure the highest level of comfort; all are equipped with towel warmers, and the underfloor heating provides pleasant warmth throughout the living area.
Two separate, spacious living areas, each with a cozy wood-burning stove, invite you to relax—one of which is additionally equipped with a sound system. You also have access to two fully equipped, modern kitchens: one features a Jura fully automatic coffee machine (including beans) and a SodaStream, while the other has a Qooker. Several outdoor areas—a private terrace and two balconies with seating and lounging areas—offer wonderful views and invite you to enjoy the fresh mountain air.
As a guest at Design21, you have access to the entire property and, of course, to all the shared amenities of the AuraKarwendel. Look forward to the large, fenced-in garden—a paradise featuring a hot tub available for exclusive reservation, a fire pit, sun loungers, a terrace, and barbecue facilities. You can relax in the wellness room in the basement, which features a massage table available by reservation, or in the cozy living room during a game night. In the summer, you can use our serviced rental bikes for free; in the winter, free snowshoes and sleds are also available, including an ice scraper in the garage. The heated garage offers two parking spaces and two free EV charging stations. You’ll find six additional free parking spaces in front of the house. You can securely store and lock your bikes, e-bikes, or skis in the garage.
Additional Important Information
Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the chalet. Ashtrays are provided on balconies and in outdoor areas.
Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement and confirmation (max. 2). They are not allowed on the furniture and must not be left alone in the chalet. Please indicate in your inquiry if you plan to bring a dog.
Upon request, we are happy to provide cribs and extra beds for adults.
