Our “Haus Regenbogen,” completed in 2022 and featuring high-quality amenities, is located in Hinterbichl in the Virgental valley and offers a natural, relaxing atmosphere across approximately 96 m². On the upper floor, two cozy bedrooms, a comfortable bathroom with a shower and toilet, and a wooden balcony invite you to unwind. The spacious living room with a sleeper sofa, flat-screen TV, a high-quality kitchen with a dining area, another bathroom with a steam shower, a separate toilet, and a terrace with a wonderful mountain view are located on the first floor. A modern compact tiled stove provides cozy radiant heat during the winter months
The modern solid wood construction with untreated wood surfaces and minimal use of building chemicals indoors, as well as a clay-plastered wall-mounted heating system on the upper floor, ensure a healthy living environment. Tiled floors with underfloor heating on the first floor and solid larch plank floors on the upper floor invite you to walk barefoot. Bedroom furniture made of solid Swiss stone pine ensures exceptional sleeping comfort.
Bed linens, towels, and kitchen linens are provided. There is also a private parking space at the accommodation and free Wi-Fi. Right next door at the “Die HEIMAT” hotel, you can enjoy the sauna (including a rental bathrobe), breakfast, dinner (by reservation), and a breakfast roll service for an additional fee.
“Haus Regenbogen” offers a low-allergen environment and is ideal for families with children. To ensure these standards, we unfortunately cannot accommodate pets. Thank you for your understanding.

…our “Haus Regenbogen” is named after the so-called “Rainbow Gorge,” a picturesque stretch of the upper Isel River that you can reach via the Isel hiking trail—just 100 meters from the house and 2 km away. When the sun is in the right position, the spray from the mighty waterfall regularly creates a magnificent rainbow. Thanks to the house’s convenient location, you can easily access numerous hiking trails in the summer—including the famous Umbal Falls—as well as the Isel Bike Trail; in the winter, the cross-country ski trail is also within easy reach. Several marked winter hiking trails and a family-friendly ski area with guaranteed snow and multiple T-bar lifts in the neighboring town of Prägraten round out the winter offerings.
