PRIVATE WITH LUSH SURROUNDINGS. Our property sits at the end of a quiet country lane on acres of lush semi-tropical landscape with spectacular views of rolling mountains, and the Gulf of Nicoya. This immaculate single-story, 800 sq' apartment is fully furnished and includes outdoor covered patio, living room, full kitchen with dining bar, ground floor queen bedroom, full bathroom, laundry and private parking.
This beautiful apartment is part of Hacienda Vivace, a spectacular main home. The apartment is fully furnished, Starlink wifi, all utilities and private parking are included. We have an indoor solar heated lap pool in the main Hacienda that we share with guests. There are also two large public pools in San Ramon.
Our property is located on the outskirts of San Ramon in the quaint area of Magallanes, a mix of Costa Rican and expat residents. The area is quiet, safe and private, yet just 5 minutes to downtown San Ramon. The gardens are tended with care by the owners and provide an ambiance of beauty and tranquility.
San Ramon is a 'muy tranquilo' provincial town of 20,000 that welcomes travelers with a graceful sense of pride and slow pace of life. The town offers it all -- a weekly farmers market, supermarkets, shops, restaurants, bars, museums, as well as major hospital, and a University of Costa Rica campus.
We are in a non-touristy area a day trip to many tourist attractions: from the volcanos Poas and Arenal, Manuel Antonio, beaches, canopy tours, sugar cane and coffee plantation tours, hiking and bird-watching.

Summary: Large, clean, and has a wonderful patio (with now mature landscaping and covered patio unlike online photo). Hosts are on-site and very helpful and responsive, with lots of info and recommendations for local resources. We enjoyed watching the birds, butterflies, and other wildlife while relaxing on the patio. Close to San Ramon, a beautiful little city, and perfect weather. Like most places here, bring insect repellent for the midges and mosquitoes (unless you are one of those people who never get bitten). And if using Google Maps to get here, when it says you have arrived, you are actually at the neighbor’s drive, and your destination is the next drive ahead on the left!
